Some things find you when you're not looking for them.

I was in Japan, mid-session in an art workshop, when I first held a piece of Kintsugi. A broken ceramic, repaired with gold. Not hidden. Not discarded. Made more valuable by the very fact that it had fractured.

I recognised it immediately. Not as a technique. As a truth I had been circling for fifteen years.

Fifteen years across Oracle's enterprise accounts, MENA boardrooms, government entities, and university classrooms. A Master's in Strategic HRM. A PhD researching the invisible architecture that limits women's advancement from the inside. Not just the outside. That research became the foundation of Women in Gold.

Japan clarified what I had been sensing for years. The challenges leaders face are transnational. The context differs. The human experience underneath does not.

When the time came to bring everything together, Dubai was the natural place to build it.
